Oh yes, this is a fact. At the majority of weddings, the evening entertainment is way down the list of priorities when planning your perfect day. Some people opt to have a live band,which is not surprising considering the bad reputation mobile discos have gained over the years since their fruition, due to bad DJ's's with bad equipment and cheesy music choice. Now I'm a big fan of live music and would never wish for live performance to disappear from our entertainment calendars, however, for your wedding entertainment, bands can be a little bit restrictive. When was the last time you and your guests were able to ask for song requests from a wedding band? What if the volume is too loud? Have you ever tried asking a band to turn their volume down? Generally speaking wedding bands and acts have one set piece of music and one set volume, like it or lump and their lighting is generally focused on them, not the dance floor! How about your guests music choices from Motown to Reggae,Rock'n'roll to Rave, Charts to Indie or R'n'B music? If there is a band that can cover all that then I want them on my books!
